This page contains my thoughts and experiences and some photos about my time at the First Apraxia-Kids Parent Conference held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylavnia
on July 15, 16, and 17, 2004.
I took pictures of all the materials displayed because I would never remember all of the ideas. My notes only cover some of the things shown in these pictures. There were tons of good ideas.
Our only night out on the town and it rained. Even though the view wasn't that great, we all wanted to go up the incline. It was fun. Note to tourists, when the grumpy old man at the bottom tells you that you have to buy a round trip fare because you can't buy one at the top, take it literally. You can't buy a ticket to return at the top, but they will let you board without a ticket and pay for the ride at the bottom. Therefore, if you aren't sure you will come back the same way don't buy the round trip ticket. It is a long story, but made for some frustrating moments that were laughable when it was all over.
